Based on the update from the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics, the Ministry of Health announces that the results of all samples of the suspected case of coronavirus were negative.

The patient, whose clinical status is improved, will remain hospitalized today for preventive reasons. In addition, a small number of people, who travelled on the same flight from China and were found to be asymptomatic, after having been examined by health professionals at Larnaka Airport, were advised to apply precautionary and self-screening measures for the next 14 days.

The Ministry of Health will make official announcements on any developments regarding the virus.
