The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, will have a meeting tomorrow morning with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Mrs Ine Eriksen Søreide, who will undertake an official visit in Cyprus, following a relative invitation.

After the end of the meeting, the two Ministers will have extented talks with the participation of official delegations of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.

The discussions are going to focus, among others, upon the bilateral relations between Cyprus and Norway and the perspective of a further enhancement thereof in particular sectors, the developments in the region of East Mediterranean and Middle East as well as the illegal actions taken by Turkey in the maritime zones of the Republic of Cyprus, the relations between EU and Norway, energy and energy security related issues as well as various other regional, european and international issues of joint interest.

The two Ministers of Foreign Affairs will make statements to the representatives of the mass media at 10:30 a.m.

In the framework of her presence in Cyprus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway will be one of the main speakers in an event organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs tomorrow at 13:00 at the Presidential Palace, titled "Women in Diplomacy"
