The Department of Antiquities, within the framework of the celebrations for the International Day for Monuments and Sites of ICOMOS and the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, organises a Voluntary Blood Donation day, in collaboration with the Blood Bank of the General Hospital of Pafos. The Voluntary Blood Donation will take place on Wednesday 18 April 2018, between 10:00 - 12:00, at the Visitors Center of the Archaeological Site of Kato Paphos (Mosaics).

The Department of Antiquities supports the activity of Voluntary Blood Donation, which aims at strengthening the Blood Bank reserve of the General Hospital of the Pafos District. Most importantly, it invites the public to support this effort. Blood Donation is an altruistic act of love and noble gesture to our fellow citizens, as by offering blood, we all contribute to the development of social cohesion and the creation of healthy human relationships, for the establishment of a society based on universal values.
