The Ministry of Health would like to inform the public that it has received a donation from the People's Republic of China in order to meet protective equipment needs and tackle the coronavirus pandemic. 1,320 protective medical uniforms were received while, during the next days, additional quantities of protective masks will be supplied to Cyprus by a private courier company.

At the same time, the special flight of Aegean Airlines and Hellenic Petroleum, which will deliver medical equipment and supplies, also donated from China, is expected within the coming weekend.

The Ministry of Health would like to express warm thanks to the Embassy of China in Nicosia for its solidarity and contribution, in the attempt to meet equipment and consumables needs.
