The Minister of Agriculture travels to Brussels to participate in the AGRI Council
The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Mr. Costas Kadis travels to Brussels today to participate in the Agriculture and Fisheries Council of the European Union, to be held on 21 September. The Council will discuss the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) as well as trade-related agricultural issues.
On the sidelines of the Council, Mr. Kadis will have the opportunity meet with the European Commissioner for the Environment, Oceans and Fisheries Mr. Virginijus Sinkevičius. Mr. Kadis will also meet with his Polish counterpart with whom he is expected to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Agriculture Ministries of the two countries.
