The Press and Information Office (PIO) and Pierides Foundation (PF) organised tonight an event to launch the joint publication "Glyn Hughes 1931 - 2014", at Theatro Polis - OPAP.

The book launch, which was the first joint event organised by the PIO and PF, took place in the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two organisations in 2018 with the aim to promote the country’s cultural wealth. The President of the PF, Mr Demetris Pierides, and the Deputy Director of PIO, Mrs Elengo Fragoulidou, addressed the event, whereas the Director of PF, Mr Yiannis Toumazis, presented the publication. The event ended with the screening of a short film by the PIO dedicated to the late artist Glyn Hughes.
