The Vaccination Portal will be made available to citizens over the age of 88 as of 27 January

As part of the implementation of the National Vaccination Plan for COVID-19, citizens are informed that as of Wednesday, 27 January 2021, at 9 am, the Vaccination Portal will be available for appointments for those over 88 years of age, who have not been vaccinated in the previous period or have not already arranged an appointment. Appointments relate to the period from 27 January to 5 February.

According to an update, up to this morning, 1,186 appointments had been arranged for the vaccination of people over 90 years of age, out of a total of 5,448 appointments made available. The Vaccination Portal remains open today for people over the age of 90.

Vaccinations are carried out by 11 units in 9 Vaccination Centres that already operate in all Districts. At the same time, the Linopetra Vaccination Centre, in Lemesos, starts its operation, while vaccination units are added in Latsia, Lakatamia and Pafos and the hours in Larnaka and the days in Lakatamia and Ammochostos are extended. Therefore, citizens will be served by a total of 15 units.

It is clarified that, depending on the rate of appointment bookings for people over the age of 88, citizens will be informed by means of an announcement on the availability of appointments for the next age groups.
