Total Employment for the 4^th quarter of 2020 is estimated at 442.271 persons, of which 392.697 are employees and 49.574 are self-employed.

Compared to the corresponding quarter of 2019, total employment decreased by 1,3% for the 4^th quarter of 2020. The most significant percentage decreases were observed in the economic activities of Accommodation and Food Service Activities (NACE I), Transportation and Storage (NACE H), Administrative and Support Service Activities (NACE N), Arts, Entertainment and Recreation (NACE R) and Other Service Activities (NACE S).

Actual hours worked for the 4^th quarter of 2020 are estimated at 190.615 thousands; a decrease of 6,3% compared to the corresponding quarter of 2019. The most significant percentage decreases were observed in the economic activities of Accommodation and Food Service Activities (NACE I), Transportation and Storage (NACE H), Administrative and Support Service Activities (NACE N), Arts, Entertainment and Recreation (NACE R) and Other Service Activities (NACE S).
