The Commissioner for Volunteerism and Non Governmental Organizations, Mr Yiannis Yiannaki, participated in the two-day online festival organized by the United Nations, on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 March 2021, in the framework of the global campaign to promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, with the theme “For the People and the Planet”.

This two-day festival was attended by representatives from 60 countries, 300 speakers from all sectors of society and they shared bold ideas and actions in relation to the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

There were dozens of online events and workshops. This online two-day festival presented the opportunity to exchange good practices, strengthen collaborations, and most importantly to strengthen the momentum for the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
