The Commissioner for Volunteerism and Non-Governmental Organizations, Mr Yiannis Yiannaki, will participate in the online conference of Youth Delegates of the International Non-Governmental Organizations of the Council of Europe, which will take place today, Wednesday, March 31^st 2021, with the subject ‘’how the COVID-19 pandemic affected societies and the disruption of everyday life, in relation to civil society and Non-Governmental Organizations’’.

Activists and organizations at the forefront of dealing with the effects of the pandemic will have the opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen their action in tackling the effects of the pandemic on society and Organizations. Social movements and NGOs can address and treat social collective problems associated with, for example, racism and gender discrimination. The online seminar will provide space for dialogue and exchange on these topics.
