The Archaeological Site of Amathous will remain closed to the public
The Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that the Archaeological Site of Amathous remain closed to the public from 5 April 2021, until further notice. The decision was made after the detection of Covid-19 cases amongst the personnel located at the site. The Department of Antiquities apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the decision, which however is deemed necessary for the protection of public health.
