Announcement by the Ministry of Health regarding changes to the Vaccination Plan against COVID-19

As part of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to better serve citizens for vaccination against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health informs that it has proceeded with changes to the Vaccination Plan and as of Monday, 17 January 2022, citizens can be vaccinated with the vaccine of their choice at the walk-in vaccination centres or by arranging an appointment through the electronic Vaccination Portal. It is noted that the Ministry of Health has increased the daily appointments.

In particular:

  • Every Monday the Moderna vaccine will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday the Pfizer vaccine will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • Every Friday the J&J and Moderna vaccines will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • Every Saturday the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available at the walk-in vaccination centres
  • The AstraZeneca vaccine will only be available every Wednesday at all the walk-in vaccination centres or via appointment arrangement through the Vaccination Portal

It is stressed that the Vaccination Centre of Linopetra will only operate with scheduled appointments (increased scheduled appointments).

It is reminded that the opening hours of Vaccination Centres in all districts are from 8 am to 6 pm, except for the Health Centres of Latsia and Linopetra which are open until 3 pm (The Health Centre of Latsia serves only children aged 5-11 years).
