The Deputy Ministry of Culture (Cinema Advisory Committee-CAC) announces a call for proposals concerning film production funding for the year 2023, in all the categories of the Regulation:

The amount of funding provided by the Financing Regulation directly depends on the annual budget for film production, and the state's obligations to productions, which have been approved in previous years.

Additional Information:

1.Applicants must be aware of the Regulation for Funding and their applications must conform to it. Incomplete applications or proposals not conforming to the Regulation shall be excluded. (copies will not be returned)

2. All applications and accompanying documents shall be submitted in 4 printed copies and one digital copy (one Pdf file with continue page numbering). All printed copies should be deposited in the “Ιncoming Mail Box” situated at the reception of the Cultural Services Building at 27 Iphigenia’s str., 2007, Strovolos. The envelope should read: To the Secretariat of the Film Advisory Committee/ Funding application 2023, and include the title of the film and the category of the Program to which the application is submitted. Digital applications should be addressed to the Secretariat of the Cinema Advisory Committee and sent to the email address: cypruscinema.gov@cytanet.com.cy

3. All applications should be deposited and sent by Monday 13^th of March 2023, until 13.00.

4. Submitted documents and applications will not be returned.

5. Application forms and the Regulation for Funding (For the Regulation for Funding in the Turkish language, click here) can be obtained from the Deputy Ministry’s website (under the link “Announcements”) and the Cinema Website of the Cultural services. Upon completion of a production, filmed in Digital Format, (HD 2K, 4K) the producer is obliged to deliver to the Cinema Archives (Deputy Ministry of Culture - Cultural Services) 2 Master DCP (Digital Cinema Package), one of them with English subtitles. The cost of the 2 DCPs must be included in the total budget of the movie.
