The Federation of Cyprus Organizations of Greece (O.K.O.E.), the Union of Cypriots in Greece (E.K.E.) and the Press and Information Office of the Republic of Cyprus, on the occasion of the 45-year anniversary since the coup and the Turkish invasion of 1974 in Cyprus, invite you to the opening of the exhibition: “Cyprus: 45 years of occupation”. The opening will take place on Tuesday, 16 July 2019, at 19.30, at the Multifunction Hall of the Syntagma Metro Station, in Athens.

The exhibition consists of photographs from the Press and Information Office Archive as well as paintings by the artist Vasilis Prokopou from the collection: “Mothers of Cyprus”.

• Mr George Syllouris, President of the Federation of Cyprus Organizations of Greece (O.K.O.E.)
• Mr Leonidas Massostasis, President of the Union of Cypriots in Greece

Mr Yiannakis Omirou, former President of the House of Representatives, will be the keynote speaker at the exhibition, which is under the auspices of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
