International Media Correspondents

For issuing or renewing a Press Card, in accordance with the relevant legislation, international media correspondents must practice the journalistic profession and be mainly and regularly employed by an international media organisation, which operates or is published outside Cyprus.

Applicants must fill out the web form below and submit/upload the following required documents:

• A valid identity card or passport.
• An original dated letter from their employer/media organisation, confirming their continuous employment as a correspondent in Cyprus with the said organization. The letter must include the journalist’s name in English and their identity card or passport number
• A recent portrait photo in jpeg format, resolution 200 ppi.

Applicants or authorized persons are kindly requested to collect their press card from the Press and Information Office after scheduling an appointment through e-mail: localpress@pio.moi.gov.cy.

The press card is valid for one year from the date of issue and there are no applicable fees.
