The new Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the United Arab Emirates presented his credentials
The new Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the United Arab Emirates, Mr Yannis Michaelides, presented on 12 November 2019 his credentials to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, at the Qasr Al Watan Palace.
Ambassador Michaelides conveyed to His Highness, the assurances of President Anastasiades’ highest esteem as well as his trust that the already excellent relations between the Republic of Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates will be strengthened even further for the mutual benefit of the people of the two countries.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the new ambassador, wishing him success in boosting cooperation and friendship relations between the UAE and the Republic of Cyprus.
