Written Statement by the Minister of Transport, Communication and Works, Mr Yiannis Karousos, on the charter of flights to repatriate fellow citizens
Due to practical problems and because of difficulties in finding flights, the Government announces the charter of flights to repatriate our fellow citizens who fulfil the provisions of the Decree No. 5 of the Minister of Health (confirmation from the Republic’s Diplomatic Missions).
The first arrangements concern the United Kingdom (UK), while efforts continue for the return of the rest of our compatriots.
Those who have obtained a certificate or confirmation and are in the UK and/or can travel via the UK are kindly requested to contact +35724841100 as soon as possible. The line will be open today, 20 March, from 8 am to 8 pm.
