The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that during today’s meeting, the Council of Ministers decided to extend the existing measures applicable to flights and airports of the Republic of Cyprus until 1^st March 2021.

It is noted that on the basis of a decision of the Council of Ministers dated 3 December 2020, the amended Action Plan for the gradual resumption of flights and re-opening of airports will enter into force on 1^st March 2021.

The above decision was taken in the context of the emergency measures taken to address the coronavirus pandemic and therefore, there will be no transition stage until the amended Action Plan for the gradual relaunch of flights and re-opening of airports is fully implemented.
