Vaccination Portal to be made available to citizens over the age of 86 as of 29 January – New appointments as of 1st February

As part of the implementation of the National Vaccination Plan for COVID-19, the Ministry of Health announces that as of Friday 29 January, 2021 at 9 am, the Vaccination Portal will be available for appointments for people over the age of 86 who have not been vaccinated in the previous period, or have not already arranged an appointment.

The Vaccination Portal remains open for appointments today for people over the age of 88. Yesterday, 850 appointments were arranged for vaccination by people over the age of 88.

People who fall within the priority age group for vaccination are advised to arrange appointments on the first available date and time, so that there is a continuous flow at the Vaccination Centres.

It is clarified that, depending on the rate of appointment bookings for people over the age of 86, citizens will be informed by means of an announcement on the availability of appointments for the next age groups. Citizens are invited to follow the announcements of the Ministry of Health in order to be informed on the changes in the age groups and arrange an appointment.

At the same time, on Monday, 1st February, and regardless of whether the available appointments have been taken, an additional number of appointments will be available on the Vaccination Portal. Announcements regarding the number of vaccines and the relevant age group will be made in the next few days.
