The benefits of vaccination are now evident in Cyprus, since according to the latest data the number of cases and admissions to hospitals has decreased significantly, as a result of vaccination coverage. It is noteworthy that positive cases with a history of vaccination have mild symptoms and do not result in hospitalisation.

Vaccination against the disease and adherence to simple personal protective measures are our weapons to limit the spread of the virus and stop transmission. The return to normality, as soon as possible, and the safe restart of social activities and the economy depends on the individual responsibility of each citizen towards the whole of society and the awareness that our goal will be achieved only through collective effort.
