The Vaccination Centres re-open every Saturday for the best service of school and university students

After the beginning of the school and academic year and given that the goal remains to encourage and facilitate COVID-19 vaccination for people aged 12 and over, the Ministry of Health informs that vaccinations are resumed as of Saturday, 11 September 2021 and every Saturday in COVID-19 Vaccination Centres island-wide. On Saturdays the Vaccination Centres will operate from 8 am to 12 noon and will serve all citizens who either schedule an appointment via the Vaccination Portal, or wish to be served at the “Walk-in” vaccination centres without appointment.

It is noted that from Monday to Friday, “Walk-in” vaccination centres operate from 8 am to 1 pm. Every Friday, non-beneficiaries or non-registered persons in the General Healthcare System can be vaccinated as well, at the “Walk-in” vaccination centres.

It is reminded that all persons coming for vaccination must provide proof of identification (Identity, Passport, Alien Registration Card, etc.). Minors must also provide the Written Consent Form for Parents/Guardians for Vaccination of Minors with COVID-19 Vaccine signed by both parents/guardians, unless legally (subject to a relevant Court ruling) this is not necessary. During vaccination, children aged 12-17 are accompanied by parents/legal guardians (or one of them) or by another adult person.
