The Department of Antiquities, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that due to serious technical problems, the lighting of Larnaka Castle is out of order. Efforts are being made by those involved in the project (Department of Electromechanical Services, Project Manager, Contractor) to resolve the problems as soon as possible, while in cooperation with the Municipality of Larnaka, temporary lighting will be implemented along the sidewalk, east of the Castle to ensure safe public access.
