Visit by the Minister of State for Development, Francophonie and International Partnerships of the French Republic to Cyprus
The Minister of State for Development, Francophonie and International Partnerships of the French Republic, Ms Chrysoula Zacharopoulou, will pay a working visit to Cyprus on Monday, 4 December 2023.
During her visit, she will hold a tête-à-tête meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Constantinos Kombos, and extended consultations will follow with the participation of the delegations of the two Ministries. Press statements will take place at the end of the consultations.
Mr Kombos will also host a working lunch for Ms Zacharopoulou and her delegation.
The excellent level of bilateral relations and the commitment of both sides to strengthen them further is expected to be reaffirmed during the consultations. Discussions will also focus on the situation in the Middle East and Africa. Minister Kombos will also brief Ms Zacharopoulou on the latest developments on the Cyprus question and our efforts to restart the negotiations.
During her visit, Ms Zacharopoulou will be received by the President of the Republic, Mr Nikos Christodoulides, and will pay a visit to the French-Cypriot School in Nicosia, in the presence of the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Ms Athena Michaelidou.
