The Department of Antiquities, within the framework of the celebrations for the International Day for Monuments and Sites of ICOMOS, is organizing a voluntary blood donation day, in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Pafos General Hospital. The voluntary blood donation will take place on Thursday 18 April 2019, between 10:00- 12:00, at the visitor’s centre of the Archaeological Site of Kato Pafos (Mosaics).

The Department of Antiquities supports the activity of voluntary blood donation, which aims at strengthening the Blood Bank reserve of Pafos General Hospital. Most importantly, it invites the public to support this effort. Blood donation is an altruistic act of love and noble gesture to our fellow citizens, as by offering blood, we all contribute to the development of social cohesion and the creation of healthy human relationships, for the establishment of a society based on universal values.
