The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, signed today the Book of Condolences opened at the Presidential Palace for the former President of the Republic Demetris Christofias.

The Book of Condolences was also signed by the Ministers, the Government Spokesman, the Deputy Ministers, the Commissioners and other officials of the Government.

In their message, the President and the members of the Government wrote the following:

“It is with deep sorrow that we bid farewell to the former President of the Republic, Demetris Christofias, and we honour his contribution to his homeland Cyprus from the ranks of Member of the House of Representatives, President of the House of Representatives and President of the Republic”.
