Presidential Elections 2018 – Repeat election: Statement by the Chief Returning Officer at the closing of polling stations in Cyprus and abroad, at 6p.m.

All polling stations in Cyprus and abroad have now closed.

We now proceed to the second part of the election procedure for the sorting and counting of the votes.

The vote counting shall be carried out within the polling stations, except for the poll at the General Prisons, which will be transferred to be merged with the poll at the Nicosia Town Hall.

We expect to have the first results at any moment.
